Mountain tactics and innovation in the field of back-country travel are central to the Lost Trades team. The latest knowledge, useful skills and most prominent trends in mountaineering are ever-changing, but the spirit of exploration remains the same. We enjoy making average climbs into multi-day explorations. The idea is to uncover a mountains hidden features and make camp among landscapes that are visually powerful. Caves, ravines, waterfalls and back-country cabins become the focus of most of our mountain travel experiences. Our interest for future trips focus on the Pacific Northwest, Himalayan Mongolia and the south island of New Zealand.
